This episode features Dr. Thomas DiPasquale, program director for the York orthopedic surgery residency and trauma fellowship in Pennsylvania.  While doing my research for this interview, I sought advice from people who knew him well.  Their overwhelming advice was not to worry about content; he would have a lot to say.  I was not disappointed.  He had so much to say in fact that I split our conversation into two parts.  In part one, we talk about his origin story, how a chance encounter in an elevator changed the course of his career, was almost thrown out of a conference by Dr. Joe Schatzker (of the Schatzker classification of tibial plateau fracture), and how he started three training programs, 2 trauma fellowships and an osteopathic orthopedic residency.

We talk about a ton of topics but here are some links you might find interesting!
